Universal core programmes

Which documents you need to enrol
To study with us you don't need external exam results, nor do you have to sit internal exams. What matters to us is your motivation to grow. To enrol, an applicant submits a set of documents:
- Copies of an identity document (one of the accepted documents)
- Copies of the individual tax number certificate (RNOKPP/TIN)
- Copies of the military registration document (military ID / registration certificate / temporary certificate)
- A statement confirming familiarity with the military registration rules, signed by the applicant
- Copies of documents for special admission conditions (if applicable)
- Copies of your prior education document, if the information is not in EDEBO
- International passport

Frequently asked questions about distance higher education
Do I need to sit the NMT to enrol at AP University?
You don't have to sit the NMT to enrol at AP University. Our admissions use an alternative assessment: the marks on your secondary-school certificate and your prior achievements in and outside school. We also look at a candidate's motivation, plans and ambitions. External exam results aren't required for this.
What is Golden Year?
It's the first-year programme at AP University. It's designed to give you the foundation needed to choose a major consciously and with good reason, and it's split into two semesters during which students gradually arrive at a considered choice on their own. Throughout Golden Year students get maximum support and discover their strengths. It's a time for growth and finding yourself.
How are classes organised?
At AP University, seminars, lectures, practicals, modules, final tests and the exam session all take place remotely. Most classes are available as recordings in case a student misses a session. Progress is measured mainly by a student's results, not by how often they attend.
How do exams work?
Exams are also held online, through the university platform that gathers all the preparation materials and test templates. Teachers take on the role of "proctor", following the model of international language tests: they oversee the whole process and enforce the rules of academic integrity. Every type of assessment is graded remotely — multiple-choice tasks, open questions, projects and oral exams.
Will I receive an official student ID card and recognition of my studies?
Yes. After enrolling at AP University you'll receive an official student ID card. It's valid just like the cards of public universities and gives you all the benefits and perks of student status.
Can I transfer into the second year of another university after Golden Year?
Yes, you can transfer into the second year of another university after completing Golden Year. An AP University manager helps with all questions about submitting documents and the transfer process. The key point is that no extra exams are required to transfer if you're enrolling at a European institution.
What document is issued at the end of the studies?
On completing Golden Year, a graduate receives an academic transcript that allows enrolment at a Ukrainian or foreign university straight into the second year.
Can I enrol at AP University if I live abroad?
Yes, you can enrol even if you live abroad. The university admits international students and supports them through the admission process, including document preparation. Studies for international students are available in three languages: English, German and Polish.
Can I withdraw my documents if the studies don't suit me?
Yes, you can withdraw your documents if studying at AP University doesn't suit you. The university will return them without unnecessary hassle. We recommend contacting a manager for more details.
